You may wonder why anyone would take a carry-on bag. When I worked as a flight attendant, I used a carry-on bag as well. I had to decide which items I’d need for my trip. I wanted to pack light because I was traveling to different countries where I wouldn’t find the same products or services.

In addition, if I left my bags in my home country, I’d be forced to check them. So I made a list of what I needed to pack and packed only what I needed.
